(ENGLISH TRANSLATION) BISHOUNEN - SPURT JANUARY ISSUE

HELLO! I came accross this little thing in my tl a while ago and since im into bishounen quite a lot lately i decided to translate it!! they are being asked a few question about their expectations for the future as they are all growing up!

From now and until forever, Bishounen’s sparkles will always remain

Just like we want them to remain the same, just like we want them to grow up… Let’s have a peek inside “Bi Shounen”’s sparkly hearts.

They couldn’t help but realize they were “Bishounen” after being told so by Johnny-san.

Q　When have you realized you were “Bishounen”?

Ryuga: When Johnny-san gave us the group name "Bishonen". If he told us that, there is no way we can’t realize it.

Taisho: I was about 15 years old when Johnny-san told me that. Now, it just pops into my mind every three days or so ahaha.

Nasu: Johnny-san complimented my face features even though we weren’t a group(named BiShounen) yet!

Ukisho: I haven't noticed yet. Rather than being confident about it, I must do my best to embody the word “BiShounen”! In my opinion, I don’t think I should set up a goal or like an endpoint for the word “BiShounen”. That’s because if you decide to set a goal, once you reach it, you won’t aim higher.

Naoki: I don’t see myself like this. In the past, Johnny-san came to me and gave me the advice  “YOU look cool, so you have to dance with confidence”. At that time, I came to realize that even I could be confident.

Kanasashi: When I was in my 2nd year of Junior High School, Johnny-san told me “From today you are a B-Shonen”. From that day, I realized I was handsome.

Q　Do you have any fear or expectations as you get closer to adulthood?

Ryuga: I look forward to becoming an adult. I think that as people get older, their sensuality increases AND I’d like more sensuality. But also… Adults have lots of responsibilities so I’m kinda worried about this.

Nasu: It’s going to take decades until I become an “adult”. I’m afraid that if I grow up following the strict meaning of adult, I  might see my limits. That’s why I’d like my heart to remain pure and childish so I can keep growing up.

Taisho: I’m only expecting things. I managed to deal with my stress issues a long time ago and they became a fun thing. As I become an adult, I get to go to various types of restaurants and I’m really looking forward to expanding the range of meals I can get to eat.

Kanasashi: I’m wondering what will happen to Bi Shounen in 10 years. I’d like to be someone who can stand on the scene of the Tokyo Dome.

Ukisho: I’d like to see the 6 members, including myself, growing up and becoming adults. I'm looking forward to evolving into a "beautiful adult", although all my feelings linked to my youth may disappear in the process.

Naoki: The idea of becoming someone who has to show a cool aura to their juniors stresses me a lot. Our seniors like King & Prince, SixTONES and Snow Man are very good at singing, dancing and have strong performing skills, so I would like to show my juniors a cool aura that they could look up to.

Q Is there something that can only be done “now” but because it’s “now”, it’s difficult to challenge it?

Ryuga: I’d like to do more and more concerts. I’d like people to see how we are growing up and concerts are the only time when we can release our full power!

Nasu: I think I’d like to make lots of mistakes. In my opinion, you learn a lot from failing!

Taisho: I’d like to experience the same kind of adventure as the movie “Stand By Me” (1986). I feel like working with your friends gives lots of “Boys, be ambitious!” vibes. It totally gives youth vibes as well.

Kanasashi: In my opinion living our youth to the fullest is important, so I’d like to go shopping with my friends and go watch movies together. At work, I’d like to do a “Bi Shounen solo arena live”. I’d like to build a strong knowledge so that I’m not ashamed of what I’m doing once I am an adult.

Ukisho: School like dramas and movies. At the very present moment, I want to give my all as much as possible, I want to show everyone everything that can be shown. I want to make it squeaky with a chest squeaky work. I also want to do those mune-kyun types of work that make people’s hearts melt and skip a beat!

Naoki: I’d like to try various types of new things as I grow up and become an adult! I haven't experienced stuff like bungee jumping on variety shows yet, so I'd like to try it.

Without being scared of failing, they are ready to challenge anything to achieve their goal of becoming idols that are nationally known.

Q  Is there any activity you’d like to focus on in the future?

Ryuga: I’d like to do more acting work. Acting is like having another personality, and seeing myself acting on the screen acting differently is strange yet interesting.  Every time I appear in a drama, I can totally feel that I'm growing up, so it's a lot of fun, and oh! I also want to work as a model!

Nasu: This year, I did a lot of solo activities on variety shows on TV. I want to give back and teach my groupmates what I’ve learned from this and become a stronger group.

Taisho: I’d like to appear in dramas, movies, theatrical performances, musicals and TV variety shows. Honestly, now I just want to challenge anything.

Kanasashi: I want to become a kind of super team that can play an active role(in the entertainment industry) in the world. I’m willing to do my best everyday to achieve this.

Ukisho: I’d like to have more acting jobs.I'm still in the middle of shooting something (at the time of this magazine’s interview), but it's so much fun to play that time flies super quickly and the day ends as soon as it starts. I’d like to study the art of acting more so I can become an actor who can play a wide range of roles. As a group, I would like to have a concert at a large venue and show the fans the stars. Please wait for it to happen.

Naoki: I’d like to become an idol that is known nationwide so in order to make it happen, I’d like to be able to play an active role I want to be a national idol, so I want to be able to play an active part not only in concerts and live but also in acting in movies and drama and participating in tv variety shows.
